ECARMA HERBAL FROM PHILIPPINE NARRA AS FOOD SUPPLEMENT
FOR PERSONS WITH HIV / AIDS WITH MONEY BACK GUARANTEE UNLESS CONSIDERABLE
IMPROVEMENTS ARE ATTAINED AS SET FORTH HEREUNDER
This Protocol of care will show the immune enhancing effect of ECARMA HERBAL from Philippine
Narra among volunteers with HIV/AIDS.
At present the popular drugs called antiretrovirals (ARVs) for HIV/AIDS is not capable of complete
viral eradication and at most only suppresses viral replication to delay immune depletion.
ARVs are not well tolerated by HIV/AIDS patients because of its side effects such as nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and also ARVs have major long term metabolic toxicities such
as dyslipedemia and lipodystrophy. Many still prefer the alternative therapy since ARVs are
still inaccessible to most Filipinos with HIV/AIDS.
There are claims that Philippine Narra extract is effective in the
treatment of various diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, leprosy,
cancer and HIV/AIDS. Locally, it is available as ECARMA
HERBAL. Their medicinal uses have been reported. The decoction
of the bark or kino is used for thrush while the young leaves are
applied for boils, ulcers and prickly heat, and the root extracts
have also been used to treat chancres (Quisumbing 1978). The red
latex of Narra has also been used as folk remedy for tumors and
cancers, especially for the mouth (Hartwell 1971). Endo and Miyasaki
(1972) also reported that the dried cold water extract of the leaves
injected in mice significantly inhibited the growth of Ehrlich ascites
carcinoma cells in mice.
Recent pharmacologic studies on Narra have already been done. Acute and subchronic toxicity studies
have shown relative safety of the Narra tea preparations submitted for investigation. Mutagenicity
also demonstrated that the extract do not pose any carcinogenic potential.

The Philippines being a tropical archipelago, is endowed with rich plant resources which can be tapped
for medicinal purposes. Community surveys have identified at least 1,500 medicinal plants which are
already being utilized by the people for various kinds of ailments.
This Protocol of care besides being a potential model of integration of science and indigenous knowledge
may potentially lower the cost of medicinal requirements for HIV/AIDS by utilization of indigenous resources.
This Protocol is also very important given the fact that there is no known effective treatment nor vaccine
for HIV/AIDS.
The place to carry out the Protocol of care shall be at the ECARMA
WELLNESS CENTER which is located at Sitio Labong, Barangay
Halayhayin, Municipality of Pililla, Province of Rizal, island of
Luzon in the Republic of the Philippines. The Philippines is composed
of 7,107 beautiful tropical islands in Southeast Asia facing the
wide expanse of the blue and serene but sometimes tempestuous Pacific
Ocean. The Philippines' sun-drenched islands are veritable tropical
paradise with scenic panoramas, pristine white beaches and spectacular
sunsets.
The ECARMA WELLNESS CENTER is nestled
on a mountain ridge away from the polluted population centers. It
affords a panoramic and breathtaking mountain view surrounded by
Narra and other tropical trees and wafted by unimpeded cool mountain
breeze. The ECARMA WELLNESS CENTER
is composed of 10 cottages, one big guest house, separate dining
hall and kitchen, and jogging and exercise area. The cottages are
made of the Philippine indigenous materials of bamboo, coconut lumber
and anahaw leaves. One Guest for one cottage.
